“Our experience with Summit's pre-school program has not been good. They employ inexperienced staff and have a very high staff turnover rate. They do not have an actual Speech Pathologist, and there is no supervision by management of what goes on in the classrooms. This school ignored the fact that my child was starting to speak, ignored that he was reading, and treated him as if he was a lot lower functioning than he is. We have had to fight with them every step of the way to get them to engage our child and teach him -- he was outright bored at school. They were not very accomodating to us coming in to observe our child in the classroom, and when we finally got in, we understood why. If you're sending your child to Summit, you really need to fight with them to get your child's needs met.”
